Dr. Ye Guo-Shin and Margot Stone, Dean of The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, Visit President Chen Zhi-Cheng of Taiwan University of the Arts

On the morning of April 12, 2018, Margot Stone, the Dean of The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts (PSTA) in the UK, visited National Taiwan University of the Arts (NTUA), accompanied by Dr. Ye Guo-Shin, the founder of Mo Hai Lou International Art Research Group, and General Manager Lau Hon Yee.

Li Yi-Feng, the Director of the International Affairs Office at NTUA, was also present to welcome the guests. During the meeting, both parties exchanged opinions on their respective schools’ educational features and philosophies and discussed future collaboration opportunities.

President Chen Zhi-Cheng introduced the high quality of education at NTUA and the overall cultural environment in Taiwan. He also expressed his gratitude for the scholarships provided to NTUA students by the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts. Margot Stone praised the outstanding artistic achievements of NTUA students and expressed her honor in hosting NTUA students at their institution. She looked forward to potential collaborations between the two schools in the areas of research, preservation, and restoration of antiques and monuments, and the promotion of the aesthetics and craftsmanship of both Eastern and Western traditional arts.
