Mackmyra x Fu Baoshi x Fu Yiyao: Royal Collection National Treasure Limited Edition Whisky

At the invitation of Mackmyra Taiwan’s President, Robbin, Dr. Ye Guo-Shin designed a commemorative whisky collection series that blends scent, vision, aesthetics, and collectible value. As longtime friends, Dr. Ye closely collaborated with Robbin, personally selecting the artworks and overseeing the label design. This collaboration reflects the fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics.

Mackmyra Distillery is the official distillery of the Swedish royal family, while Fu Yiyao is an internationally renowned artist recognized by the Japanese imperial family. Dr. Ye, founder of the Mo Hai Lou International Art Research Group, has driven this “Royal Collaboration.” He pointed out that the artistic legacy of Fu Baoshi and his daughter Fu Yiyao symbolizes the evolution of ink painting, with their works embodying the romance of classical literature and the depth of personal philosophy.

Artist Fu Yiyao shared her father’s teachings: “When the soul is filled with intense excitement, your technique will transform into art.” The father and daughter dedicated their lives to using painting as an artistic practice. Supported by Mo Hai Lou, this limited edition whisky subtly interprets the journey “from technique to art.”
